I was really influencd by both the Cape, and Smallville's idea of a modernized Superhero, and the Kizer180 Little League design. In the Relaunch, after the passing of Barry Allen, Jay Garrick's apprentice, juvie Wally West tried to slip into his lab to get his Aunt Iris' engagement ring from Barry's Jacket. Barry's speed energy then manifested, and zapped Wally, turning him into Kid Flash, Garrick's new sidekick, and later, his replacement.
